Update- 2026 Irrigation Season
Due to the record setting precipitation that has recently occurred in April, the Army Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Reclamation began Flood Release Management on April 15th, 2026 out of Arrowrock and Lucky Peak Reservoirs while continuing to hold releases out of Anderson Ranch Reservoir to a minimum to accrue as much storage as possible in Anderson.
Due to this change in conditions, the Boise Project has been informed that our storage account in Anderson Ranch will be considered full when we reach the day of allocation. An allotment of 2.0 acre-feet or better will be reevaluated and set after the day of allocation.
This press release is to further serve as notice to parents and children alike of the approaching hazards of water in the irrigation canals.
If you have any questions, please contact Bob Carter, Project Manager, at (208) 344-1141.
